As an senior designer at Pound & Grain, alongside a colleague, I co-conceptualized and led the UI and UX design for Genesis Robotics' groundbreaking project, 'Live Drive.' The objective was to showcase the transformative potential of Live Drive technology, which promised significant advancements in robotic capabilities. This project not only involved traditional design elements but also integrated cutting-edge 3D animations, making it a standout in the robotics industry.

Additionally, building and maintaining strong relationships with the client was crucial to ensure alignment on vision and execution throughout the project.

We began by understanding the core technology and its applications through a comprehensive research and analysis phase. This involved conducting client workshops with Genesis Robotics to gain deep insights into Live Drive technology. Additionally, we performed an industry analysis by reviewing existing robotic technologies and their digital presentations to identify gaps and opportunities for innovation.

Alongside my colleague, we began brainstorming unique ways this website could tell the story of the usefulness of Live Drive technology while also surprising and delighting users and future investors. What resonated the most was when we played with the idea of a dance between the technology and the real-world applications.

Key proposals included designing an interface with interactive scrolling, where 3D animations are triggered by user scroll, providing an engaging way to explore the technology. Additionally, I focused on visual storytelling by crafting a narrative that highlights the diverse applications of Live Drive technology through bespoke 3D animations.

Key deliverables included detailed high-fidelity prototypes that showcased the final design and interactive elements, as well as a comprehensive UI package for the development team. This package included design specifications, style guides, and interaction patterns.

The interactive design and visual storytelling led to higher user engagement and longer time spent on the website.

Genesis Robotics was highly satisfied with the project, appreciating the innovative approach and the strong collaboration throughout the process. Overall, this project demonstrated my ability to lead complex digital initiatives, combining UX/UI expertise with innovative visual storytelling to create a compelling and memorable user experience.
