Dove is on a mission to help champion real beauty and inspire self-confidence and self-love around the world. Their new “Love Your Hair” collection is an eco-friendly line of products specially tailored for different hair types and textures. So many women are taught that proper hair care should disguise or tame their hair type, not nurture and love it. Dove asked us to design custom packaging for the launch to encourage and affirm women in their natural beauty.
Overcomplicated skincare routines have gotten out of hand. Twelve steps, day and night, who has the time, or money, for that? Vaseline asked us to design custom product mailers with a premium look and feel that would highlight their classic Jelly’s many, many uses, its universal and timeless appeal, while playing into popular trends to captivate and excite a younger audience.

How We Approached It
How We Approached It
We created 100% recyclable and sustainable packaging for each product based on the special characteristics of that hair type. These boxes were color-matched to the product itself. Affirming and inspirational quotes were printed on the front of each box to immediately instill confidence and pride in the recipient. The belly bands were embossed with beautiful line patterns on the side in honor of their natural hair texture.
We know that folks already used Vaseline as a beauty hack, for context #Vaselinehacks has 172.6M views on TikTok, so we created a Beauty Hack Starter Packs to showcase the versatility of the trusted, beloved Vaseline Jelly.
